The National Centre for the Performing Arts pays close attention to the inheritance and promotion of traditional culture. It carefully chose and made more than 20 models of ancient stages. These models are scaled down strictly following the specifications and exterior appearance of the existing stage architectures. With rich history and strong ethnic style, they are the miniature of Chinese traditional opera and architectural culture.

作为国家最高表演艺术中心，国家大剧院自成立之初便致力于高品位、高水准的高雅艺术和优秀的民族艺术的传播和弘扬。通过全国范围内的考察和精心遴选，国家大剧院特别定制了20余件古戏台模型，她们严格按照现存戏台建筑的规制和外观等比例缩小制作，戏台虽小，却可小中见大，从中窥见我国博大精深的传统戏曲和建筑文化，感受到浓厚的历史底蕴和民族风情。
